Asset Type

The Asset Type screen is the section where you can define Asset Types which is used in Asset. Asset Types are predefined information to be used in Assets. Any information inserted into Asset Type will be available in Asset Type dropdown.

Click on the Asset Type menu from the left sidebar under Master Setup on CoolR Portal. You will see the Asset Type screen on the right.

Add New Asset Type​

Click to the Add button on the Actions ribbon. You will see the Asset Type Details Form. Fields marked with Red are mandatory.

  • Fill out the information accordingly.
  • You can select or define all information in that screen including a photo of the Asset.
  • After filling out all the information click to the Save and Close button to save the Asset Type.
  • You will see the new Type in the Asset Type screen.

Edit an Asset Type​

Doubleclick to the Asset Type row which you want to edit. Asset Type form will appear.

Default Asset Form

  • Edit the information you want to update on the form.
  • After filling out all the information click to the Save and Close button to save the Asset Type.
  • You will see the Asset type with updated information in the Asset Type screen.
