Common terms used in CoolR documentation.

Business Items

Term	Definition
Location	An outlet, store, or address where equipment is expected to be located
Market	A geographic grouping of locations, such as a city, state, or region
Channel	The type of location, such as a retail store or theater
Classification	A category used to set different targets for locations within a market and channel; for example, Gold or Bronze grocery stores
Sales Rep	The representatives responsible for a store
Asset Type	An equipment model used to define shared monitoring thresholds
Asset	Equipment monitored by a smart device, usually a cooler or refrigerator. Each cold-vault door is a separate asset
Smart Device	A device that captures data, such as VistaZ. An asset or location can have multiple smart devices
Manufacturer	The producer of equipment or products
Product	An individual product or SKU being monitored
Brand	A grouping of products under one brand; for example, Fanta Orange and Fanta Pineapple belong to Fanta
User	A person with access to CoolR tools, such as an installer, technician, or business user. Receiving email notifications alone does not make someone a user
Roles	Privileges assigned to the user
Alert	Notification based on exception parameters
Cooler	A refrigerator/ freezer used to stock the products in retail space
Cabinet	Synonym of Cooler used by some business verticals
Planogram	Visual arrangement of the products in a particular location. Within the CoolR system, it can be used to define strict planogram, category wise distribution or priority occupancy

Reporting Elements

Term	Definition
Purity	Refers to lack of "foreign" or unwanted products
Foreign product	An "unwanted" product in the space or a product not distributed by the client
Stock	Share of Visible Inventory (SOVI), or the percentage of visible facings occupied; not an actual inventory count

Data Elements

Term	Definition
Command	Commands issued to the device
Logs	Raw communication/ data logs for diagnostics etc.
Audit Logs	Information about data access/ modifications made to the system
Health	Telemetry data such as temperature, humidity, light, battery etc.
Movement	Location tracking related data such as GPS/ aGPS
Door	Event times and duration when door open/ close was detected. If image capture is enabled, info about image capture as well
Ping	When device was visible to a gateway
Image Record	Data related to image capture event
Image	Image captured
Asset Purity	Analysis of image for product identification

Playbook	CoolR Business Focused Platform (https://playbook.coolrgroup.com)
FTP	File Transfer Protocol. Some guides use FTP as a general label; confirm whether your integration uses FTP, FTPS, or SFTP
