Glossary

Following are some common terms referred by Coolr team in their communication/ documentation.

Business Items

TermDefinition
LocationAn outlet/ store/ address to associate the “expected” location of the equipment to be tracked/ monitored
MarketMarket typically represents a geographical location to group locations. Example, a city, a region, state or a region
ChannelChannel typically identifies type of location such as retail, theatre etc​
ClassificationTypically used to classify locations within a market and channel. For example, a large grocery store have channel as "groceries" while classification as "Gold", while a smaller grocery store may have classification as "Bronze". That way, you can set different parameters/ targets based on this classification.
Sales RepRepresentative(s) who are primarily responsible for the store
Asset TypeIdentifies a particular equipment model. This is used to define the “exception” parameters at a high level.​ Example: GDM-47RL-HC-LD identifies True Manufacturing's 54" Two Section Pass Thru Glass Door Merchandiser
AssetAn equipment/ sub-location where Smart Device is expected to either track/ monitor parameters​. Generally a "cooler" or "refrigerator". In case of cold vaults, each door is an individual "asset"
Smart DeviceIdentifies a unique device that captures the data. One equipment/ location can have multiple Smart Devices. Example: VistaZ
ManufacturerThis is a manufacturer for either equipment or products. For example, True is the manufacturer for the refrigerators and Freshpet is a manufacturer for pet food
ProductIndividual product/ SKU to be tracked/ monitored
BrandTo identify products that fall under a specific branding. Example, Fanta can be a brand while Fanta Orange and Fanta Pine Apple are individual products for that Brand
UserA user for Coolr system. This can be an installer, technician or a business user. Users have access to our tools. There can also be other people who get information from our system using emails. However, those are considered "notifications" and these recipients are not considered users of our system.

CoolerA refrigerator/ freezer used to stock the products in retail space
CabinetSynonym of Cooler used by some business verticals
PlanogramVisual arrangement of the products in a particular location. Within the Coolr system, it can be used to define strict planogram, category wise distribution or priority occupancy

Reporting Elements

PurityRefers to lack of "foreign" or unwanted products
Foreign productAn "unwanted" product in the space or a product not distributed by the client
StockCoolr Vista ecosystem doesn't provide actual inventory count. Rather this refers to Share of Visible Inventory (SOVI) or visible facing %age in the space

LogsRaw communication/ data logs for diagnostics etc.
Audit LogsInformation about data access/ modifications made to the system
HealthTelemetry data such as temperature, humidity, light, battery etc.
MovementLocation tracking related data such as GPS/ aGPS
DoorEvent times and duration when door open/ close was detected. If image capture is enabled, info about image capture as well​
PingWhen device was visible to a gateway
