Master Data Overview
Master Data is the foundation of CoolR’s ecosystem. It powers accurate analysis, tailored insights, and effective solutions across all our systems.
Core Functions of Master Data
1. Camera-to-Asset Mapping
Master data serves as the critical link between:
- The camera
- The asset's serial number
- The outlet/store information
This connection enables CoolR to convert raw camera images into actionable insights.
Additionally, planogram data can be integrated to compare expected product placement with real-time field execution.
2. Business Intelligence Enrichment
Master data also enables deeper contextual analysis by incorporating details such as:
- Store profiles
- Sales representatives
- Delivery routes
- Market segmentation
This enriched data allows CoolR to produce high-value insights and drive recommended actions within your organization.
Master Data Submission Methods
To enable accurate ingestion and processing, master data should be submitted using our standard format:
📄 Master Data Template
Available Submission Channels:
- Email (manual upload)
- Playbook (direct upload)
- API (automated integration)

Product Packshots for Image Recognition
To enable SKU recognition, CoolR requires access to a visual library of product images (also called packshots).
Packshots are high-quality images of products in their original packaging.
They provide a reliable visual reference for product identification during image processing.
For detailed packshot criteria and requirements, refer to:
Image Recognition Guidelines
Providing a complete and high-quality packshot library ensures maximum recognition accuracy across your retail assets.
