Replenishment
CoolR’s Replenishment tab harnesses the power of AI Image Recognition to automate and optimize inventory management. This feature allows businesses to manage orders efficiently, reducing manual intervention while maintaining complete control over the replenishment process. The tab is divided into key sections that offer a clear and actionable view of inventory and order status.
Key Sections
1. Location Reorders
This section is the core of the replenishment process, handling AI-driven order generation and providing tools to manage their progress. It includes four distinct screens:
- Inbox: Once AI recognition identifies inventory needs, this screen displays the resulting orders along with their details, including value. Users can edit orders, schedule them, or move them to the Ignored Orders screen. Orders processed automatically are transferred to the Scheduled Orders screen in real time.
- Scheduled Orders: Displays orders that have been finalized and sent to clients for further action, ensuring clarity in order timelines.
- In Transit: Prevents double ordering by holding orders marked as in transit until fulfilment is completed.
- Ignored Orders: Lists orders that are not scheduled, either due to thresholds like MOQ (Minimum/Maximum Order Quantity) or MOV (Minimum/Maximum Order Value), outdated images used for AI recognition, or manual intervention by the user.
2. Scheduled Order Logs
This section serves as a complete record of all orders sent to clients. By maintaining detailed logs, it ensures traceability and simplifies auditing for internal and client communications.
3. Sales History
The Sales History section provides insights into past sales and potential future trends. It tracks how long it takes for locations to reorder after reaching critical stock thresholds, supporting proactive inventory planning and demand forecasting.
4. Order Suggestion History
This section provides a historical view of all suggested orders, categorized by their status:
- Reorder Status: Locations needing immediate attention.
- Inbox: Newly suggested orders pending user action.
- Scheduled: Orders confirmed for future processing.
- In Transit: Orders currently being fulfilled.
- Ignored: Orders deprioritized due to thresholds or user decisions.
Workflow and User Experience
The Replenishment tab is designed for ease of navigation and actionable insights. Users can seamlessly switch between the various sections to manage and monitor orders. Filters and search options allow users to quickly locate specific locations, statuses, or timelines.
For example, a user can:
- Access Location Reorders to review AI-suggested orders, edit them, and decide on their scheduling.
- Navigate to Scheduled Order Logs to confirm which orders have been sent.
- Utilize Sales History to make data-driven decisions for proactive inventory management.
Advantages of Replenishment
CoolR’s Replenishment system delivers significant business and operational benefits:
- Automation and Accuracy: AI ensures that inventory needs are identified and addressed in real-time, reducing manual oversight.
- Improved Workflow: The "In Transit" system eliminates redundant ordering, and logs ensure accountability.
- Enhanced Planning: Sales and order history insights empower businesses to anticipate demand and optimize inventory levels.
- Customizability: While automation is the default, users retain full control over orders with options to edit, schedule, or ignore as needed.
Potential Considerations
While CoolR's Replenishment tab is a powerful tool, a few considerations should be noted:
-
MOQ and MOV Dependencies
- Orders below Minimum Order Quantity (MOQ) or Minimum Order Value (MOV) thresholds may require manual adjustments.
-
AI Recognition
- Accuracy is dependent on the quality of images. Outdated or poor-quality images may lead to suboptimal suggestions.
